Spectrum Line

Students position themselves on an invisible line between two extremes.

Physical positioning makes opinions visible — students discover unexpected similarities with people they don't usually talk to.

Instructions

Designate two ends of the room as opposites. Read a prompt and students move to where they feel they belong — no middle allowed, they must commit. Ask a few students to explain their position. Do 5–6 rounds.
