Snowball Discussion
Ideas grow from solo → pair → group — everyone arrives prepared.
No one is put on the spot cold — by the time you speak to the full group, you've already said it twice.
Instructions
Give students a question. They think alone for 1 minute and write down one idea. Then pairs share and pick their best combined idea (2 min). Pairs join into groups of four and share again (2 min). Finally, each group of four shares with the whole class. Everyone has already spoken before the whole-class moment.
