Instructions
Set up or describe a scene — a historical photograph, a staged tableau, a short piece of film with no sound. Students observe in silence for 2 minutes and write what they notice: what they see, what they wonder, what they feel. Share in pairs. Then discuss as a group: what did different people notice?
