Silent Clap

The group claps — but makes no sound. Perfect synchrony is the goal.

Demands extreme attention to the group — students must watch and feel each other rhythm.

Instructions

Stand in a circle. The group must clap together in complete silence — hands stop just before they touch. Try to stay in rhythm together. Start slow. Speed up. One person leads the tempo with a nod. Switch leaders. Debrief: how did you stay synchronized without sound?
