Shrinking Island

Instructions

Mark out a large area with tape or rope — the island. The whole group stands inside. Every 30 seconds, the island shrinks. The group must find ways to keep everyone on the island — getting closer, lifting, supporting each other. The challenge is to keep everyone safe, not to compete. Debrief: how did the group make sure no one was excluded?

Variation

The group must keep talking the whole time — planning aloud as the space shrinks.
