One Question

Each student writes the one question they most want answered — then the class picks one to discuss.

Surfaces genuine curiosity — the questions students actually have, not the ones they think they should have.

Instructions

Students write one genuine question they have about the topic on a slip of paper — something they actually want to know, not something they think sounds smart. Collect them. Read them all aloud. The class votes on the one they most want to discuss. Discuss it for 10 minutes with no teacher input.
