Interview a Character
Students speak as a fictional character — not as themselves.
The mask of a character gives students permission to speak freely — they're not being judged, the character is.
Instructions
Each student picks or is assigned a simple character (a detective, a chef, a time traveller, a very old tree). In pairs, one interviews the character for 2 minutes — asking anything. The character must stay in role and answer everything. Switch. Share one pair with the group if energy is high.
