Cross the River
The group must cross an imaginary river using limited stepping stones.
Forces interdependence and problem-solving — the group physically cannot succeed without cooperation.
Instructions
Mark a river across the room. Give the group a limited number of stepping stones — paper sheets — fewer than the number of people. The whole group must cross without anyone touching the river. A stone left untouched floats away. They must share stones, support each other, and plan. If anyone touches the river, the group restarts. Debrief: how did you solve it?
