Agree or Disagree

Students use cards to respond to statements — then defend their choice.

Simultaneous reveal prevents social pressure from influencing initial responses.

Instructions

Give each student an Agree card and a Disagree card. Read a statement. Students hold up their card simultaneously — no waiting to see what others choose. Anyone who wants to can explain their choice in one sentence. Do 8-10 statements. Debrief: on which one were you most surprised by the group?
